Chivalry 2’s open beta will run until the game officially launches on June 8th, but the open beta is available just a short while longer until June 1st. This serves as a great way for players to see if they like the game and provide feedback to developer Torn Banner. It also gives players an opportunity to practice and get ahead of the curve before launch.

In order to invite friends for a multiplayers match of Chivalry 2, players should look at the bottom left hand corner of the screen and find the Invite Party Member option. Depending on the platform, players may either need to click this or press the corresponding button. This will open up a list of the player’s friends that are online and playing the Chivalry 2 open beta. Keep in mind that this list will be the player’s PSN friends, Epic Games Store friends, etc., so if someone isn’t showing up on the list, they probably need to be added as a friend on the platform first.

It should also be said that some players have been experiencing issues with inviting friends to play with them. Some players report that inviting their friends only sends a link to purchase the full game, while others claim that they are having difficulty inviting PS4 players from their PS5. Some of these issues may have already been resolved, but others might persist until the full game comes out and receives a few patches.

After a party is formed, the player that sent the invites out is designated as the party leader. They are responsible for starting a game and the rest of the party will follow them in to a match. In order to ensure that the entire party stays together, the party leader can queue up for matchmaking for parties instead of standard matchmaking.

Chivalry 2 releases on June 8th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
